Afghanistan: The Road to Kabul by Ron Haviv and edited by Alison Morley, captures the period from October 2001, through the liberation of the city of Kabul, to the fall of the Taliban regime at the end of December 2001. After September 11th, Haviv who has photographed conflicts in Africa, Russia, the Middle East and the Balkans, embarked on a trip to Afghanistan with journalist, Ilana Ozernoy. Through their difficult journey, they witnessed the heart, soul and war that was only about to unfold.
